Community Involvement

At Supreme Roofing, we believe in giving of our time and talents to better the lives of those in the communities where we live and work.

Some of this community commitment has gone unsaid and unnoticed. Other community work has been recognized via media coverage and awards. All of it is part of who we are, our company’s culture and who we will continue to be.

Our community service projects include:

Double Oak Police Department – Body Armor Donation Project

supreme roofing spearheads body armor donation for local policeSupreme Roofing spearheaded an effort to donate body armor to a local police force in need. In July 2016, five Dallas police officers were killed and nine others, including two civilians, were injured. During the incident, the Dallas Police Department immediately called upon neighboring police forces – including police in the small town of Double Oak, TX – to be ready to assist if needed. Double Oak’s force bravely stood ready to answer the call, but because the resources of the 2,900-resident town were limited, the officers did so without the kind of body armor needed for sniper or riot situations.

The Women’s Center

(winner of the National 2010 Gold Circle Award for Service to the Community)

The Women’s Center of Tarrant County has been serving the community since 1979 and provides rape crisis and victim services, employment solutions and counseling.  Supreme Roofing teamed up with Empire Roofing (a competitor) to donate the roof for this nonprofit’s new facility. The two companies also enlisted the help of generous members of the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA) to raise more than $40,000. Manufacturers and other roofing industry companies kicked in materials and other help to make this project possible.

Sunshine Village in Chicopee, Massachusetts

(winner of 2015 NTRCA Golden Hammer Award for Community Service)

We helped provide a new roof to this amazing organization in Chicopee, Massachusetts, which serves clients with developmental disabilities in the area. Sunshine Village helps those they serve discover and develop their capabilities and find jobs that utilize their talents and skills. Their roof was a safety issue each winter due to massive ice dams and huge icicles.
